having released on shifting peaks with label mates such as trevino, youandewan or mak & pasteman, modular synth aficionado cutoff!cutoff! is finally delivering his first wax on the berlin based toys imprint. toys affection for uk club sounds is mirrored in the ep s title track -shifted- that nods towards the british dance music tradition with its ravey pads and vocal snippets amidst heavy hitting stabs. the drone sounds and gnarly synth of volatile delve deeper into a sinister atmosphere. the relentless machine groove of this modern take on underground techno is aimed at warehouses and basement clubs alike

mculo, aka dan schey, is a producer and dj originally hailing from london but now residing in berlin. over the last 2 years he has been cultiviting his own roots by the oder imprint on which he released his bunzlau tape ep and his i caught a glance ep which was out this summer, as well as regular appearances on the likes of kmah radio and nts. he is also a frequent dj in berlin alongside the likes of close affiliates chaos in the cbd and youandewan. this is the follow up to his dreamy i caught a glance ep. its a far darker record than his previous releases, focussing much more on the dancefloor. it s been a regular feature in mia dora s dj sets for the last 12 months.

aus follow up some landmark records from the likes of bicep, shenoda, youandewan and new addition fold with the return of a label-favourite - the esteemed man of the moment marquis hawkes who offers up his first full length ep on aus in the form of chances. in the wake of his recent outing on houndstooth as well record on dixon avenue basement jams and clone jack for daze, the london born berlin based producer does what he does best for his aus debut and lines up three rapturous jams packed with disco loops and tough analogue drum work all suffused a signature degree of grit.

aus music continue their expeditious release schedule and follow up records from dj t., youandewan and geeeman with another addition to the label from saints & sonnets boss michael dodman aka huxley. having released a slew of eps through aus as well his debut album blurred back october 2014, huxley returns with a cross-genre 12inch that demonstrates perfectly why hes remained a long term staple for the label. few artists have held their ground as well as huxley. across an acclaimed catalogue thats seen releases on hypercolour, 2020 vision and tsuba he has managed to astutely touch on many bases whilst constantly keeping his output fresh and relevant. now - 6 years since his breakthrough collaboration with ethyl on cecille numbers, huxley reaffirms his position at the top of the tree and presents his 2.0 ep: 4 prime-time cuts bursting with powerful drum work, charming vocal samples and tape driven synths all deftly arranged to do serious damage on the floor.
